A Horse Drawn Carriage is a very special and traditional way
to arrive on your Wedding Day.
On the day our Driver and Groomsman, will arrive to pick you up
dressed for the occasion in formal attire, with our Beautiful Carriage tastefully decorated and the Horse well presented.
They will take you to the church - or other Wedding Venue (within
3 miles) and wait whilst you tie the knot! and have any photographs taken. They will then take the Bride and Groom onto
the Wedding Reception (within 3 miles).
If your Wedding Venue and Reception are at the same location, we
can if you would like, take you for a short romantic drive in the carriage as a newly married couple, to share a bit
of quiet time on your own before the celebrations begin!
We can also vary this to suit your individual needs and budget, just sent us an
email or give us a call and we can discuss your requirements and sort out a price accordingly.
PLEASE NOTE:
IT IS NECESSARY FOR THE WELFARE OF THE HORSES - AND THE
TIME FACTOR, FOR US TO HAVE A LIMIT OF A TOTAL OF A 6 MILE JOURNEY ON THE DAY - SPLIT INTO TWO LOTS OF 3 MILES AT A TIME.
IF THE WEDDING RECPTION IS FURTHER THAN 3 MILES FROM THE CHURCH THEN ARRANGEMENTS WOULD USUALLY BE MADE FOR A POINT
WHERE THE HORSE AND CARRIAGE CAN TAKE YOU TO, AND A CAR WOULD BE WAITING TO TAKE YOU THE REMAINDER OF THE JOURNEY.
COULD YOU ALSO PLEASE NOTE WHEN CONSIDERING US FOR YOUR WEDDING
DAY, THE ROUTE TO THE CHURCH AND THE RECEPTION BE SUITABLE FOR THE HORSES - OBVIOUSLY VERY STEEP HILLS AND EXTREMELY BUSY
ROADS WOULD BE A PROBLEM, SO WE WOULD ASK YOU TO CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BOOKING US. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO TALK THIS OVER
WITH US IF IN ANY DOUBT.
WE WILL VISIT YOU IN ADVANCE OF THE WEDDING TO INTRODUCE
OURSELVES IN PERSON AND GO OVER THE FINAL ARRANGEMENTS AS WELL AS LOOK OVER THE ROUTE OURSELVES. A SUITABLE
SAFE PLACE TO GET SET UP PRIOR TO THE WEDDING (SUCH AS A LOCAL PUB CAR PARK OR SIMILAR) WOULD ALSO NEED TO BE SORTED
BEFORE HAND.
